• Executive Meddling: The film has a Sudden Downer Ending in which Collier seems to have made her escape, having evaded the guards and hailed a ride in a truck, only for the person driving her to be a prison worker who tells her he's taking her right back to jail. Legend has it that originally, Collier was supposed to escape, only for the producers to change their minds and insist on the downer ending. Supporting this is the fact that the driver's lines of dialogue which end the film ("we've been looking for you all day") are dubbed over the shot of the truck driving away.
