- Outdated by Canon: Biff to the Future by IDW would go on to give its own take a lot of developments in this story.
- The "Gamblig Legalised" incident happens in 1969 because of Biff using his clout to support a petition. In the comic, this happens in 1979 because Nixon owes Biff for preventing the Watergate incident becoming a scandal.
- George McFly is shown as an employee of BiffCo and an abusive father. In canon, he is part of a committee to overthrow Biff's control of the town and remains a good father to his children.
