• Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: The developers of the game seemed to completely miss the concept that the bully character in the first level is supposed to be a unique character in the show (Butch), and made a dozen clones of him as the enemies of the level. Furthermore, his voice is completely off from how it sounds in the show, not even remotely sounding like a bully of any sort let alone like Butch.
• Early Draft Tie-In: Cindy Vortex has her hairstyle from the original Jimmy Neutron shorts and Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.
• The Other Darrin: Dave Fouquette replaced Christian Slater as the voice of Jet Fusion.
• Technology Marches On: An item in the game is a VCR, which is now obsolete years after the game came out. If the game came out today, it would be a DVD/bluray player.
• What Could Have Been: The game was going to be released on the Xbox but was cancelled after the game had poor sales.
