• Dummied Out: The Quintet quiz is inaccessible in all non-Japanese versions, though most versions still have text pertaining to it in its code. There is also a test room, and a removed building from Suncoast, and unused interiors for Storkholm.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: As with SoulBlazer and Illusion of Gaia, it has never been re-released.
• No Export for You: In an inversion of what was typical for RPGs at the time, the game was released PAL territories but not North America. Enix's North American branch had shut down by the time the localization was finished — leaving the game without a publisher there — and the Nintendo 64 was already out in the region but not Europe.
