• Fake American: Inverted. As opposed to the customary situation of Canadians playing Americans, most of this film's cast is Americans playing Canadians. Even the Blackfeet tribes members are from the U.S. side of the border. The main exception is Margaret Lockwood, who was India-born British instead.
