• Breakaway Pop Hit: "I Will Not Bow" by Breaking Benjamin. The song wasn't written for Surrogates, but the band's label Hollywood Records decided to use it for the film after frontman Benjamin Burnley sent a few songs to the label. The song is heard in the end credits, and apart from becoming another #1 mainstream rock hit, it also became the band's only top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at #40.
