  • Also Wheel of Fortune to some extent. One of its promos called its wheel "the only wheel big enough for primetime", an indirect reference to the fact that Wheel of Fortune, originally a daytime program on NBC, then later spawning a more successful syndicated version, was the only major game show at the time that had never aired in network primetime (though this finally changed in 2021 with a Celebrity Edition on ABC).
