• Approval of God: The Family Guy staff took this episode in good stride, referring to their cutaway gags as "manatee jokes" in some of the DVD commentaries, as well as one episode referring to it as "a pretty good ribbing by those South Park guys".
• Banned Episode: HBO Max doesn't have this episode (or the sequel to this episode...or "Super Best Friends"...or the "200"/"201" two-parter) because of the whole "depicting Muhammad" controversy. It's never rerun on Comedy Central anymore, either.
