  • Kiki and Koine from Season 14 fell in love after being paired up for a Salsa routine, and are now engaged. Their relationship also led Koine (who now goes by the nickname Koko, coined by the judges) to pursue ballroom full-time, consequently becoming a pro on Dancing with the Stars.
  • Most recently, Keaton and Anna started dating during Season 17, confirming it during the finale, when Keaton chose Anna as his "eliminated Top 12 dancer" partner for his first performance.
• What Could Have Been:
  • After Billy Bell had to withdraw from season 6 due to illness, Nigel admitted that he was disappointed because he had wanted to see the battle between him and fellow technical marvel Jakob. Many fans felt the same.
  • The same was said for Alex Wong, who was brought back along with Billy in season 7.
  • Who wouldn't have wanted to see a All-Star pairing of Season 10's Jasmine with her ex-boyfriend, Season 9 All-Star Cyrus?
  • Slight subversion with Emilio from Seasons 10 & 11. He was picked for the Top 20 of Season 10, but between the announcements and the first performance, he had a season-ending injury. But he successfully auditioned for Season 11.
