- Blooper: The back-of-the-box promo images of the second wave of sets depict Blaster and Flare both wearing a strange mask that isn't the one they actually come with — it's really the mask of a later RoboRiders figure. How it got there, no one knows, as RR sets didn't get to be released until the Slizer line was done with.
- Contest Winner Cameo: "Hiker Mike", a model built from Ski, Turbo, Granite and Electro, was one of 25 first place winners of the Throwbot Building Challenge and received officially published building instructions in the September-October 1999 issue of LEGO Mania Magazine. The 5 grand prize winners Eco-Rover, Ultimus, Taurusaur, Transbot, and Ultro were also featured in the same issue's "Maniac Madness" section.
