• Missing Episode: The seventh and last arc of the series was composed of 13 episodes, of which only the first is known to have survived.
• The Other Darrin: Like Moonlight Mask before it, quite a few main cast members were replaced between series chapters.
  • Most notably, Kotaro Ran was portrayed by Susumu Namijima for the first four arcs, then by Sonny Chiba for the remaining three, which aired under the name New Seven-Color Mask.
  • Samon was played by Ryuichi Fujiyama for the first six chapters, then by Isamu Yamaguchi for the last.
  • Arai was played by Yuko Kobayashi for the first three chapters, then by Midori Urano for the fifth and sixth.
  • Kawakami was played by Hasebe Ken in chapter 2, Ryuhei Kusakari in chapter 3, Kohei Taguchi in chapter 4.
