- Saved from Development Hell: Stacy Halall created the character for MADtv (1995) in 2003, which did not pick it up. She collaborated with Sam Neimann to make the shorts, the first of which premiered in 2007. The animation company they used later went bankrupt, but would hold the rights to the character until 2018, preventing any further development before then. In 2020, with help from a Kickstarter campaign, they launched a comic book series.
- Screwed by the Lawyers: The rights to the series were held by a bankrupt animation company for a decade, making it impossible to create any more installments.
