• Shout-Out: In the finale, King George's madness is signalled by his use of the phrase "what, what." The inspiration for this was The Madness of George III , except in the original work this expression symbolised that King was sane again.
• The Other Darrin: Three different actresses played Mary Oliphant and two played Cora.
