  • Creator's Oddball: This is the only one of MacVeigh's comics to not feature any characters from the Maddie series (prior to When Heaven Spits You Out), the only one to have the story entirely told through narration, the only one not to be sold on Amazon in some form, and the only one (again, prior to When Heaven Spits You Out) to not be available on Webtoons. However, it is still identifiable as his comic as it still keeps the same art style as his other ones, and is still at its core a coming-of-age story.
  • What Could Have Been: Early in the comic's development, it was going to be about a girl named Suzanne who gets a Rolls-Royce as her first car and tries to hide the fact that she owns it. That idea never went beyond a few concept images, but one of them made its way to MacVeigh's DeviantArt account as his tutorial for how he creates his comics. Later, the car was changed from a Rolls-Royce to a Silver Seraph because of MacVeigh's love for the Seraph. It was also going to be more of a deadpan comedy, with Suzanne being a blunt and apathetic girl who is image conscious, but tries to pretend she isn't. One of the planned stories for the comic involved her sneaking out of classes at school to repeatedly refill the parking meter, while another was her being blackmailed into playing chauffeur to a fellow male student to try and make his girlfriend think he was richer than he actually was. However, MacVeigh couldn't figure out how to fill the voids during the comic's development, and due to him developing Maddie In America and the first parts of Outsiders at the same time, he didn't have much creativity left to spare, so he started work on the comic again in January 2018, this time with its final premise. The design of Suzanne was actually going to be reused in Outsiders for a character named Alyx who becomes Siobhan's secretary, but MacVeigh deleted the comic before she had a chance to make her appearance. Her design would, however, eventually be repurposed as the basis for Janie Hanzlicek in When Heaven Spits You Out.
