Trivia / Plasmo

Go To

  • Acting for Two: Brucho and Coredor are both voiced by Phillip Houghton.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices:
    • Plasmo is voiced by Abbe Holmes.
    • Joyce is voiced by Simon Watt.
  • Descended Creator: In addition to voicing Brucho and Coredor, Phillip Houghton also served as the show's composer.
  • The Other Darrin: Brucho was originally voiced by Paul McDermott in "Plasmo and the Bookworm". Some cuts of the episode dub him over with Phillip Houghton.
  • Out of Order: Episode seven, "Plasmo and the Bookworm", was the first episode produced, as a test for the series. As such, the character designs and animation style are drastically different.
  • Surprisingly Lenient Censor: Houghton still can't believe that the shot of a post-bath Brucho mooning Coredor with his naked butt in episode eight actually got past the executives at ABC.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • An episode was planned to describe how the engine for the spaceship was obtained, but the scenes were too difficult to properly animate. The comic version of the series has the storyboards as an extra feature, however.
    • An entire second season was planned for the series, as seen on the original website. However, nothing came out of it in the end, aside from episode titles.
