- Hey, It's That Sound!: The "PYOOM" sound that plays when you land any Skill Shot is the same sound that plays when you get a Gap Shot in Zuma.
- What Could Have Been: When the first game was in development, the guitar riff that accompanied Jimmy whenever he'd appear at the bottom of the screen was the same one used in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. By the time of the actual release, they had to change it to a more generic-sounding riff for legal reasons.
- Additionally, sound that played when you shot a ball out of the cannon was originally more like a cannon, and the sound that played when you landed a ball in the bucket was originally a "PLUNK!" sound.
