• Exiled from Continuity: Since Palladium lost the Robotech license, revised editions of various books have bleached out any Robotech conversion content. Even before this was the case, Robotech didn't have any canonical crossovers with the rest of the Megaverse, though the Rifts Conversion Book had rules for dealing with Robotech characters and mecha being brought over to the Rifts world.
• Fanwork Ban: One of the most notorious ones in the RPG industry. Kevin Siembieda forbids people from converting his settings (most notably RIFTS) to other systems and publishing the rules anywhere, and makes legal threats against people who do publish them. (Fortunately, Palladium doesn't have the resources to follow through.)
