Trivia / Not Always Working

  • Recycled Script: Many stories share the same formulae to the point that they might as well be this. Two of the most common are:
    • A person buys an age-restricted item (such as alcohol or tobacco) and some other things, realizes they don't have their ID, is told by the cashier that they can't buy the age-restricted item, and either fails or is unable to convey the simple message of "I just want to buy the other things that aren't age-restricted".
    • A person pays an odd amount, then adds a small amount extra at the last minute so that they won't get a bunch of change back, and confuses the cashier by doing so.
