• Executive Meddling: Originally, in the "Police Raid" sketch, after the policeman discovers what he's planted on the actor is actually sandwiches, and he exclaims, "Whatever did I give the wife", the sketch ended with the wife giggling and saying, "I don't know, but it was better than lunch!" The BBC forced the Pythons to cut the line.
• Recycled Script: The Silly Job Interview sketch was originally written by Cleese and Chapman for the special How to Irritate People, with Tim Brooke-Taylor playing Chapman's role in the original.
• Write What You Know: The "Confuse-a-Cat" sketch was based on a cat that belonged to John Cleese's neighbour who would often sit on the front yard grass for hours at a time not doing anything.
