- Screwed by the Lawyers: The series lasted only 13 episodes thanks to Tonka's potential copyright violation lawsuit.
- What Could Have Been: There were plans for a Mighty Orbots toyline, but a lawsuit from Tonkanote and the show's cancellation put a stop to any nationwide release. Prototypes do exist◊ and were even advertised in at least one toy catalog.
- Tonka sued them because the names "Orbots" and "Gobots" were too similar (and not because the writing and animation were superior enough to be a threat, no sir). The original title for the show was "Broots", which (although not particularly appealing) might have deflected the above mentioned lawsuit if they'd stuck with it.
- On the other hand, the God Mars design for Orbots in particular required a more significant redesign in order to really prevent litigation from Tonka seeing that even in the pilot episode, Super Broots/Mighty Orbots looks like a literal Palette Swap of God Mars.
- The fact that the show's title sounded too much like the first half of the GoBots merchandising slogan ("Mighty Robots, Mighty Vehicles") probably didn't help, either.
