Eventually, some supportive readers got him to realize that he needs to actually take charge of the Lunaverse to keep this from happening again, and he marked it by restoring the scene, albeit an extended version where the rest of the Luna Six witnessed Trixie doing it and calling her out, and Trixie explaining to their satisfaction that she had faked it, only did it to distract him while the reforms settled in, didn't like doing it either, and that this would be the end of their adventures in Equestria's politics.
