Strangely enough, however, despite the film's title and many references of the titular basketball star, Michael Jordan never makes a physical appearance in the movie.

• Hilarious in Hindsight: A Meta example. Early into Calvin’s NBA career, he meets Allen Iverson(whom he happens to be a big fan of) and he attempts to ask for an autograph, but Iverson rudely dismisses him. 20+ years later, Bow Wow finally managed to get Iverson to sign his Sixers jersey.
