- Ascended Fanon: During its time of release, the Mission Deep Freeze subtheme had no official subtitle. The term "Mission Deep Freeze" was coined by fans and used in a number of fan-created sources, including a Play-By-Post Roleplaying Game on BZPower in 2004 and a BrickFilm in 2008. The release of The LEGO Book in 2009 marked the first time that "Mission Deep Freeze" was used in an official LEGO source.
- Edited for Syndication: In the American release of November/December 2004 LEGO Magazine◊, Titan XP defeats the T. rex, but the Time Freeze Ray hits World City and Ogel wins, while Dash's emergency beacon is received by Zed, setting up the final showdown between Alpha Team's Blizzard Blaster and Ogel's Scorpion Orb Launcher that begins in the following issue. In the European release of November/December LEGO Magazine◊, the T. rex defeats Titan XP, but the time portals not only return the dinosaurs and titans to their proper timelines but also absorb Ogel's Time Freeze Ray, saving World City (but, it is implied, creating the prehistoric Ice Age), while Dash's emergency beacon melts the ice and frees the entire Alpha Team without the help of Zed, who is never seen or mentioned.
- What Could Have Been: LEGO Alpha Team was originally developed under the title LEGO Logic, and the titular team would have been called the Trans-International LEGO Team. An early animation for the game by Doug Wolf can be seen here. Interestingly, Tee Vee and Evil Ogel both remained virtually unchanged from this stage, while the rest of the cast was replaced.
- An interview with lead designer Tom Mott and concept artist Bill Benecke revealed much more information about this early version of LEGO Logic. Canceled zones for a Moon Base and Mountain Hideout for LEGO Alpha Team were also mentioned.
