Trivia / Ira Levin

Go To

  • He Also Did: Besides the book, he also wrote the lyrics for the Broadway musical Drat! The Cat!, which closed after eight performances, but which had a song recorded by Barbra Streisand ("He Touched Me").
  • Short-Lived, Big Impact: Lived to age 78 and had long career, but the majority of it was writing for the stage. He published just seven novels, but almost all of them were best sellers, were classics of their genres, and many became important pop culture touchstones.
