  • Bury Your Art: The original YouTube shorts the show is based on were deleted from the site some time before its release. The creators began shooting those videos while still in school with a small crew mainly consisting of their friends and without any overarching plan, so they were more concerned with securing filming locations than storytelling and most episodes ended up being Random Events Plots. Word of God states they are still proud of what they managed to achieve under these conditions, but once the actual show was greenlit, they didn't want to risk being turned down by actors googling the web series and getting the wrong idea about the professionalism of the production.
  • Copiously Credited Creator: Bruno Alexander, Emil Belton, Oskar Belton, Max Mattis and Leo Fuchs are listed as stars, writers and producers on each episode; Alexander, Belton, Belton and Fuchs as directors; and Alexander, Belton and Belton as editors. Mattis does not co-direct but gets a second producing credit (as executive producer). And the show doesn’t even use 'created by' credits!
  • Promoted Fanboy: The creators started their YouTube show as teenagers because they were fans of the Sitcom Jerks and set out to do their own Cringe Comedy inspired by it. The professional version is a co-production with the same company that produces Jerks, airs on the same streaming service, and its lead actor Christian Ulmen crosses over in two episodes.
  • Real Song Theme Tune: "Fahrradsattel" by German punk band Pisse, which became a viral hit on TikTok in 2021, plays over the credits of the majority of episodes.
