  • Acting for Two: In the Italian dub, Nana and Maria are voiced by the same person, Serena Clerici.
  • Completely Different Title: In the Middle East, the anime is called "Drob Remi" (دروب ريمي)
  • Conclusion in Another Medium: Remi was so hated in Japan that it was taken off Fuji TV, with the remaining episodes only being available through the DVD.
  • Creator Killer: The anime resulted in WMT closing for a decade, because Japanese audiences frequently gave it low ratings and heavily disliked the changes made.
  • Late Export for You: The anime is from 1996, yet didn't air in Italy until 2008.
  • Star-Making Role: In the Middle East, Remi was this for Hanadi Al-Saadi. Unlike Japan, Arabs loved the anime.
  • Troubled Production: During production, WMT was desperately trying not to go under, hence the many changes to both the story, character designs, character genders. Even the overall plot was a result of lack of funding. Fuji TV was also going though a squabble with them, and took the show off the air in March 1997.
