• Black Sheep Hit: Most of bill wurtz's videos consist of quick jingles and non-sequiturs that last a few seconds at most. While some of his videos are longer (to the neighborhood of up to a minute), they are dwarfed by the 9 minutes that is history of japan.
• Follow the Leader: Some parody versions of this video were made, thanks to its overwhelming popularity.
• What Could Have Been: Bill originally wanted to do "history of america", but found himself unable to write about it objectively. However, in June 2022, content creator krispykarim decided to take up the task to tribute Bill and created exactly that.
