• Dueling Works: With Weathering With You, released two months earlier both in 2019. Both are original anime romantic dramas with otherworldly elements starring a boy and girl who don't fit in with the rest of society. Both films' climaxes also involve the boy traveling to a higher realm, where the girl was abducted to, in order to rescue her regardless of the potential cost to the lower world.
• No Export for You: The film remains unlicenced across most major English speaking countries for unknown reasons with Anime Limited in the UK being the only place to have released it on Blu-ray, which only happened in 2022, 3 years after the film originally released in Japan (their release is also subtitled only making it a case of No Dub for You too).
