• Time Marches On: Elmer’s plan. While it would certainly be possible today to get himself removed from his company’s board of directors (if he’s outvoted), said plan would hit a snag in getting himself (involuntarily) committed to a sanitarium. This is thanks to a 1975 Supreme Court ruling that stated a person cannot be involuntarily committed unless they are an (unprovoked) danger to themselves and others.
