  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Bugs Bunny getting manipulated into a false belief (that he's Elmer J. Fudd), since a famous psychological experiment about the power of suggestion and false memories centered around getting the subjects to believe they saw Bugs at Disneyland.
  • Magnificent Bastard: Elmer J. Fudd, reimagined here as an "eccentric Millionaire", seeks to avoid paying for his taxes. To this end, he fakes being insane by pretending to be a rabbit and gets sent to a sanitarium, where he tricks a nearby Bugs Bunny into taking his place while he escapes, leaving Bugs to be hypnotized into thinking he's Elmer. Upon being hunted by Bugs, Elmer manages to stay one step ahead of the hunter before Bugs is arrested for tax fraud, scoring one of the character's few victories against Bugs.
  • Memetic Mutation: "I am Elmer J. Fudd. Millionaire. I own a mansion and a yacht."
  • Values Dissonance: After acting like a rabbit at his board meeting, Elmer is instantly checked into the Fruitcake Sanitarium (which displays the slogan “It’s full of nuts!”). Although, given what we now know about the abuses in American mental institutions prior to the 1970s, Elmer (and Bugs) probably got off lucky.
  • Values Resonance:
    • Dr. Myicin’s methods and role in “Elmer’s” recovery (with the aid of drugs), which were a Take That! to commonly held beliefs about psychoanalysis in the 1950s, are rightfully framed as being harmful to Bugs and his mental state.
    • After the high-profile corporate scandals of companies like Enron and Worldcom in the 2000's, the idea of Elmer Fudd as a Corrupt Corporate Executive avoiding federal prison through deception and manipulation is far more realistic than it would've been in 1955.
