Trivia / Half-Life: Blue Shift

• Ascended Fanon: "Walter" was the long-running fan nickname for the bald scientist with glasses model in Half Life. Blue Shift has Rosenberg's colleague with this character model being named Walter.
• What Could Have Been: This game was going to be exclusive to the Dreamcast port of Half-Life, similar to how the PS2 version of Half-Life had Decay as a bonus campaign. The Dreamcast port was also to feature remade “High Definition” 3D models to take full advantage of the Dreamcast hardware. After it was canceled, Gearbox and Valve opted to release the Blue Shift campaign and HD models as a PC expansion.
