Trivia / Game Ka Na Ba?

Go To

  • Adored by the Network: This show wasn’t all “consistently-air-everywhere-else”, but ABS-CBN kept entrusting the show for most of its time even with five formats and a host change at its lunchtime slot.
  • Colbert Bump: The Urszula Dudziak jazz song "Papaya" experienced a resurgence in popularity when Edu Manzano danced to the tune during his stint in the show, to the point of being featured in ABC News's Good Morning America where various videos of Filipinos as well as the anchors themselves dancing to it are shown.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: It’s almost rare at this point to get any Kris Aquino episodes, although they have been reran on JeepneyTV starting from 2013 to an unknown date, where the network only reran Edu Manzano episodes.
    • Unless if ABS-CBN opts to release all the episodes in the wild one way or another, any episodes that carried the original format (2001 - 2004) will be extremely sparse to share, with the exclusion of two episodes uploaded on YouTube from former contestants. The later Pyramid episodes (which changed the format immensely where contestants now had to answer two questions correctly to play but kept the main part of the game) and the Kris Aquino Atras-Abante are also hard to find.
    • Fortunately, ABS-CBN has opened the gates to see the Edu episodes via the “Kapamilya Online” showings on YouTube (these were region locked for the Philippines only), but these have been temporarily available.
    • Some former contestants from the show have however uploaded their episodes on YouTube (including the Arthur Mosca episode where he answers “Camp John Hay” for a million pesos).
  • What Could Have Been: ABS-CBN had announced after the end of the original Team format run that it would return as a “seasonal” game show for the channel. Had Edu Manzano not done the decision to move to GMA via this announcement, more episodes of the show would have occurred.
