• Executive Meddling: One of the more well known examples among the gaming community. Started off as a fun little spy romp with all Insomniac's trademark guns and humor. Then the focus testing happened with 12 year olds claiming it was boring and EA nudged Insomniac into going more realistic and gritty, resulting in the series now being more mature in a sense. As shown by the game sales, the rest was history and Insomniac cut ties with EA since then.
• What Could Have Been: Originally, the game was announced as Overstrike, with a more stylized look with more emphasis on humor like a over-the-top Mission: Impossible deal. However, after a round of focus testing, where people thought it was for their younger siblings and kids wanted something more edgy, EA encouraged Insomniac to change the tone and art style to look more realistic.
