• Author's Saving Throw: Soon after the release the developers released a patch that addressed the criticism regarding clunky controls. The changes include: reducing the delay between actions, fixing the spell change system to a single button, making spell change instant and possible to be done in midair and while moving, ability to change directions while dashing and 2 seconds of invincibility frames upon being hit. Later, there was another patch that fixed the biggest issue of all, the lack of sound effects.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The Fountain of Time was originally the Fountain of Youth. This would have had players fight against an elderly Rocky wearing army clothes, the teenager greaser Rocky that is featured in the final game, and the third phase would have been against a kid Rocky.
  • The cowboys riding atop the Bull were going to be stereotypical Native Americans, but was changed due to the backlash from viewers.
