• What Could Have Been: In an interview with E! Online, creator Marc Guggenheim detailed plans for future seasons of the show had it not been cancelled:
  • Eli and Maggie would start dating, until Grace shows up.
  • It would be revealed that Maggie and Nate would end up together. The Time Square flashforward would show the baby Maggie holds is actually Nate's.
  • Nate would lose his job at the hospital and start a new practice with Dr. Chen.
  • Matt and Taylor would get married and have a child together.
  • Jordan would reconnect with Taylor's mother
  • Eli's profile as a prophet would grow and grow and he eventually leaves the firm. However, the threat to his life becomes greater as well.
