Trivia / Doctor Who S34 E2 "Into the Dalek"

• Content Leak: This episode was one of several from series 8 where an unfinished workprint leaked online before the episode aired.
• Deleted Scene: Many objects done in CGI have their models changed entirely from their rough to final prints. For instance, Journey Blue's damaged shuttle is completely different in the completed episode than the unfinished cut.
• Spared by the Cut: An additional scene in the leaked work print shows Rusty self-destructing when he returns to the Dalek ship, killing everything, himself included. However, it reuses the animation of the "Metaltron" from "Dalek", likely for a point of reference. In the finished episode, Rusty's fate was left ambiguous, which paved the way for his return in "Twice Upon a Time", where he's alive and well, and continuing his centuries-long crusade against all other Daleks.
