Go To

  • Backed by the Pentagon: The Philippine Air Force provided assistance to the making of the film, evident that some scenes were shot on location at Mactan-Benito Ebuen Air Base while some airmen portrayed the background extra characters. In a non-military example, members of the Philippine National Police also appeared as extras during the beginning scene where the gold bars were loaded into crates.
  • California Doubling: Palawan doubles as Leyte or Masbate, possibly in an attempt to make the scene more pleasing to the viewers' eyes. See also Artistic License – Geography on the main page.
  • Development Hell: The film took five years to make as it was first shot around 2006-2007 with the first trailer being released in 2008. It would not hit cinemas until 2011, albeit in a limited release within the United States.
  • Fake Nationality:
    • Vietnamese actress Bebe Pham and Australian-Chinese actress Jaymee Ong both portray Filipina characters.
    • Thai actor Pakawat Suphanakha portrays a Filipino named Tony Calderon.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: This movie is notably obscure due to the fact it only saw limited releases in select theaters in the United States. Fortunately, one can view the full movie on Amazon or on YouTube for free.
