• No Export for You: The anime for this VN averts this for the very first time in terms of anime adaptations of the series. As mentioned above, it can be legally streamed in North America and most Western European countries. This is in direct contrast to the anime based on the first two games, which as of May of 2013, are still only available via fansubs.
• The Other Darrin: Played straight and subverted at the same time, the voice for Sakura wasn't Yukari Tamura like it has been for all of the other Da Capo animations, but hitomi who voiced her in the games. Additionally, D.C.III R changed several voices owing to the original voice actors not wanting to (or their contracts not allowing them to) appear in Eroge, though it was nowhere near as extensive as in the first and second games.
