• Acting for Two:
  • Kid Sideburns portrays most of the cast.
  • Robert Hedley portrays both Dr. Pocalypse and Human Bat.
• Harpo Does Something Funny: Coymercials exist mostly exist for Anni to goof off.
• No Budget: The Commander's mask used to be a tea towel!
• Real Life Writes the Plot: Being a zero budget production, this is fairly frequent. Many videos have planned appearances by other characters, but their portrayers are frequently unavailable.
  • O'Connell was created for the purpose of having someone for the Commander to talk to when Anni's actor was unavailable.
  • Countess Crossland was intended to actually appear, but she was fired off-screen when her intended actress essentially ended up refusing to participate.
  • B's extended time in The Void started out as a quick joke in He Blinded Me With Science, but the actor created a video showing his return. Initially it was going to be released after Rock You Like A Hurricane, but the episode was taking far too long to complete.
• Throw It In!: All over the place, but Anni and Pocalypse's characters basically run on this.
• What Could Have Been: Lord Sock was originally intended to be an intelligent Eldritch Abomination who would retreat after his appearance is repeatedly insulted by Anni and the Commander.
  • Before the series hit Youtube, Kid Sideburns considered a few other characters.
    • Lt. Blakus, a lieutenant and obsessive gamer who has trouble distinguishing gameplay from reality.
    • Crazy Coyle, The Commander's sister and an assassin.
    • Crazy Half Coyle The Commander's niece, and his most feared follower.
  • COMMANDO's forces have gone through multiple considerations before they finally appeared.
    • Hurricane's shtick was originally supposed to be that he fought with a regular sized hammer. A miscommunication lead to his actor making a Warhammer to go with the costume. Both he and Kid Sideburns agree this was much cooler.
  • Apparently the second 'season' of the ongoing plot with the NVO was originally envisioned as a massive Crisis Crossover amongst the Meta Community. While more cameos and characters are indeed involved, the scope is much smaller.
  • Anni was supposed to feature in Breaking Bat, assisting the Commander in combat, but his actor, Yuri, was unable to make it to the shoot.
