Trivia / Colosseum: Road to Freedom

• Dummied Out: There are many extra voice clips that were left out of the final product of Road To Freedom in the game files. For example, Crixus the chef was supposed to be someone who the player could get info on gladiators and the story from. The announcer also had several intros for certain events left out such as for the final battle, where he explains the origins of the final boss, and an introduction for a gladiator named "Bato". He also had intros for all the famous gladiators in the game and add extra details about them, none of which made it into the final product.
• Market-Based Title: The Japanese version is called Gladiator: Road To Freedom, while Western versions are called Colosseum: Road To Freedom. This possibly could have been done to avoid confusion and association with the movie Gladiator. Averted with its sequel, Gladiator Begins.
