The visual novel:

  • Acting for Two: Jeffery, Crispin, and Kylar occasionally share scenes together, and they're all voiced by Max Field.
  • Colbert Bump: The game received a sudden resurgence in popularity with the release of the animated pilot by Wrath Club and its subsequent Kickstarter.
  • Corpsing: As she's saying the following, you can clearly hear Elsie Lovelock trying to hide a chuckle in doing so.
Nicole: I'm sorry I'm a disappointment, Mom. I'd want a daughter who gets A's on math tests instead of D's to the face.
  • Descended Creator: soulbrothanumbuh3, under his real name Max Field, voices Crispin, Jeffery, and Kylar.
  • Fake American: British voice actress Elsie Lovelock voices Nicole, a true-blue American.
  • Playing Against Type: Anthony Sardinha, better known on the internet as Antfish, is mostly known for voicing comical Large Hams but in this game voices the counselor, who is both soft-spoken and a sexual predator played disturbingly straight.
  • Word of God: During a Kickstarter live-stream, Max Field confirms that the setting of the story takes place in a fictional version of NOVA or North Virginia.

The series:

  • Actor-Shared Background: Sepideh Moafi played Hour Nazari, who's Iranian-American like her. Hour's family had fled Iran after the 1979 Islamic Revolution as refugees like her real parents did as well, receiving political asylum in the US. Moafi has been public, like Hour, on her past experience as a refugee.
