  • Completely Different Title: French: "Faites l'amour, pas la guerre" (Make love, not war)
  • Hide Your Pregnancy: Holly Marie Combs was actually pregnant during filming so she wore larger clothes and camera tricks were used to hide it.
  • Underage Casting: Obviously Jennifer Rhodes was too old to convincingly play Penny in the flashback, so a younger actress was cast. According to the Halliwell family tree, Penny is thirty in this episode. However only ten years separate this from Season 1's "That 70s Episode", where Rhodes is playing Penny again.
  • What Could Have Been: The episode was originally supposed to focus on Patty's past. Due to Finola Hughes being unavailable, the episode was rewritten to focus on Penny instead. As such, Season 6 is the only season where Patty doesn't appear.
  • This is the last time in the series that the Charmed Ones face a warlock. It's also the last time Phoebe uses her levitation power.
  • When the girls went back to 1967, they only had their basic witch powers due to the fact that they weren't technically born yet.
  • Magic appears to be much more openly used in The '60s as Penny has no problem turning the policeman's night stick into flowers in front of people.
  • Wyatt uses his telekinetic orbing power again in this episode to get his bottle for himself.
  • The episode title is a play on words to the 1969 event Woodstock - a free festival attended by nearly 500,000 people to celebrate peace and love.
  • The song hippy-Grams sings to Wyatt is the 60s protest anthem, 'We Shall Not Be Moved'.
