• This episode is Julian McMahon's last appearance as a series regular. He does appear as a guest star later in the series for one episode.
• This episode features a plot device known as the 'bad dream phenomenon' which depicts things the way things might be if a key event hadn't taken place, altering things for the worse for one or more of the main characters.
• Paige doesn't have her active powers in Cole's alternate reality as in that universe, Paige never met her sisters.
