• Enforced Method Acting: The scene where Blake runs across the minefield was rehearsed so the charges would go off just behind him. Unfortunately when the charges went off for real Gareth Thomas started to run a lot faster, causing the man setting off the charges to fire the rest off at once before he got too far away.
• Recycled Set: The actors go down the same ladder and corridor three times, with different coloured lighting used to represent the different levels.
• What Could Have Been:
  • One proposed storyline had Veron deliberately killing Gan as part of her betrayal and then joining the Liberator, with the murder not being discovered until later in the season.
  • Terry Nation wanted Vila to be killed, but this was rejected as his character was popular with viewers. There were also talks of killing Cally off.
