• Refitted for Sequel: The entire game reuses a lot of cut ideas from one of the five pitches proposed for Shadows of the Damned, back when the game was still called Kurayami, such as Wormwood taking his own life by the noose at the start of the game (Garcia was going to take his own life by hanging himself), Hellebore residing within Wormwood's sword (Paula being the spirit of a little girl who resides within Garcia's gun) and the presence of Half-Human Hybrid monsters, which were scrapped from Kurayami.
