• Acting for Two: Roy Kinnear and Sheila Walker were the only voice actors, so this happened all the time.
• Prop Recycling: Bill and Horace, the two burglars in "The Burglars" reuse the models for Alf Thompson and Ted Glen from Postman Pat. Bill is wearing George Lancaster's hat, while Horace is wearing Ted's hat.
• Technology Marches On: With her being a big machine that can produce just about anything she's programmed to, Bertha herself can be considered a predecessor to modern-day 3D Printer technology.
