- Adaptation Displacement: Due to the relative obscurity of the series, many people were introduced to it via Pauls Vids' "Bertha: The True Story" video.
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The songs tend to serve no purpose other than to pad out the story a little more.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: The main theme, especially the first three lyrics, sounds like a direct homage to "Heartaches" by Al Bowlly. Doubles as Hilarious in Hindsight in the wake of the Colbert Bump "Heartaches" experienced upon being used as a leitmotif for "It's Just a Burning Memory" that plays at the beginning of the Album "Everywhere at the End of Time (Stage 1)" By The Caretaker.
