• Real-Life Relative: In the sequel, Arabela was played by Libuše Šafránková's younger sister Miroslava.
• What Could Have Been: According to director Václav Vorlícek, his first choice for the role of princess Arabela was Libuše Safránková, the star of his earlier feature films. Unfortunatelly, the actress was ill at the time of shooting, so Vorlícek cast young actress Jana Nagyová instead.
  • However, because of her strong Slovak accent, Nagyová was over-dubbed in post production by Safránková.
• The costumes worn by the actors have been preserved and can still be seen on display.◊
