• Acting for Two: In the series' first episodes, nearly all characters were voiced by the author, which led to episodes crediting the cast as "Daniel, Daniel, Daniel, Daniel...". An example of this can be seen here.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The third part of the first episode (released in March 2011) features a golden statue of Mario inside the Mario Fan Club building. New Super Mario Bros. 2 released a year later features a powerup that turns Mario gold.
