Pre-series

  • 4 billion years ago: Grand Witch Grandiene is formed by the Minus Energy of the entire universe.
  • Unknown amount of time between the series: Darkness King Gill is born as Grandiene's first-born and tries to kill her, getting banished to the depths of Hell, he rules over the dead ever since. Grandiene's other children come next, and eventually are all sealed away.
  • 17th Century: The Tatsumi family establishes a fire brigade within Edo-era Tokyo and quickly develops a rivalry with the Inui, another family fire brigade. (Ep. 8)
  • 1975: Matoi Tatsumi/GoRed is born.
  • 1976: Nagare Tatsumi/GoBlue is born.
  • 1977: Shou Tatsumi/GoGreen is born.
  • 1978: Daimon Tatsumi/GoYellow is born.
  • 1980: Matsuri Tatsumi/GoPink is born.
  • 1989: After failing to convince experts that the alignment of the Grand Cross in ten years will begin an awakening of demons, Professor Mondo Tatsumi resigns his position and abandons his family to research and create equipment and weapons for the arrival of the Psyma Clan in exile.
  • December 24th, 1991: Unknowing of what happened to her husband, Ritsuko Tatsumi leaves her children to find him, only for her plane to vanish, making her family believe she had died. (Ep. 42)

Series (1999)

  • With the date of the Grand Cross nearing, the fire creature Magma Golem appears and wrecks havoc around the city. The Tatsumi Siblings are reuinited with their thought-dead father, Mondo, who gives them the means to transform into the GoGoFive and defeat the creature. (Ep. 1)
  • The Psyma Clan announce their arrival on earth and begin their conquest to gather the energy to summon their mother, Grand Witch Grandiene. The GoGoFive team defeats Tornedeus. (Ep. 2)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Gasguile. (Ep. 3)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Solgoil. (Ep. 4)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Quakecross. (Ep. 5)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Jeruda. (Ep. 6)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Moleghoul. (Ep. 7)

  • An alien warrior named Zeek arrives on earth to fight a monstrous alien named Golmoa. When the GoGoFive team up with him to battle the alien, he's injured and temporarily passes his powers to the Tatsumis' friend, Kyoko Hayase. (The Movie)
  • Discovering that Grandiene will replace him with Infant Demon Drop as Psyma Dark King, Dark King Zylpheeza releases the Hades Demon Warriors who successfully take lives and cause massive damage to the city. When Go Go Five regroup and realize they can't save everyone but they can save who they can, they successfully defeat Zoori, the leader of the Demon siblings. (Ep. 19-20)
  • Mondo unveils Liner Boy, a sentient mecha and "sixth" Go Go Five member who helps defeat Jiin and Guuru, the remaining Hades Demon Warriors. (Ep. 21)
  • Zylpheeza goes all out in trying to defeat Go Go Five believing it will be enough to please Grandiene, but is destroyed by the new combination mecha Max Victory Robo. As he dies beleiving he has done well for his mother, his Dark King power is transferred to Drop who becomes encased in a cocoon. (Ep. 22)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Zombeast. (Ep. 23)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Zairen. (Ep. 24)
  • On August 18th, 1999, the Grand Cross is formed. Using the rituals and magic of the Psyma Clan on the peak day of the Grand Cross alignment, the Psyma Siblings successfully summon Grand Witch Grandiene to Earth; however due to Mondo interfering in the ritual, she arrives in an incomplete state with only part of her potential full power. (Ep. 25)
  • Discovering that his soul had left his body in an amnesiac state, Drop's human-like soul is restored to his cocoon body, transforming him into the Dragon Dark King Salamandes (Ep. 26)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Dogul. (Ep. 27)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Deathmine. (Ep. 28)
  • Grandiene summons the asteroid Grandeo to Earth to gain a mass of Minus Energy; after discovering its existence, and attempting to destroy it with Max Victory Robo fails, Mondo instead has Go Go Five use Victory Mars, a new mecha, to fly into space and destroy the asteroid directly. (Ep. 29-30)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Bakuyuuma. (Ep. 31)
  • Due to the influence of the Grand Cross, the Starbeasts are cut off from the power of their homeworlds, plummeting them to Earth like meteors where they fall into the ocean. GoGoFive fights with the Gingamen to defeat Darkness King Gill, who escapes from Hell. After being mortally wounded he sacrifices himself to bring about the Infernal Dark Beast (GoGoFive vs. Gingaman)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Godai. (Ep. 32)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Thanatos. (Ep. 33)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Byra. (Ep. 34)
  • The GoGoFive team have a fight with Denus. (Ep. 35)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Spartan. (Ep. 36)

  • Salamandes and Spell-Master Pierre open the gate into Ghost Psyma Hell where they trap Go Go Five within; however Grandiene destroys the gate as punishment to Salamandes for all his failures. Led by the spirit of their believed-deceased mother, the Tatsumi children escape the hell. (Ep. 42)
  • Salamandes absorbs the spirits of dead Psyma to become Ghost Salamandes and escape his mother's trap; after a battle where he and Pierre try to further increase his power for revenge, Go Go Five finally kill him with their mecha. (Ep. 43)

  • The GoGoFive team defeats Bahamuu. Realizing the failure of her children, Grandiene abandons them to summon Minus Energy on her own to complete her revival. (Ep. 45)
  • The GoGoFive team defeats Big Dozer. The Remaining Psyma siblings Cobolda and Denus infect Matoi with a parasite to revive Zylpheeza with his life energy. After the younger Tatsumi siblings save their brother, Denus sacrifices herself so that Zylpheeza could live with his full power. (Ep. 46)
  • Using the Minus Energy of the entire universe, Grandiene completes her full revival into a corporeal form. (Ep. 47)
  • Grandiene uses Cobolda's desire to be the next Dark King to lure Go Go Five to the gateway to the Psyma Road to Psyma Paradico, but Zylpheeza overhears that none of her children matter to her anyway. He tries to stop their battle but Grandiene uses her magic to make Zylpheeza shoot Cobolda's own weapon at him, killing his younger brother. Matoi arrives on the Psyma Road as Grandiene releases a powerful hellfire that ultimately burns and kills Zylpheeza once again while trapping his siblings from doing anything. * Matoi faces Grandiene within the inner chamber of Psyma Paradico; using the combined fighting spirit of the five siblings, he kills her; then GoGoFive destroys her body with Max Victory Robo after she grows giant. This destroys all remaining Minus Energy on Earth, but likewise merges Grandiene's conscious with the Minus Energy of the entire universe. (Ep. 48)
    • In a hospital in the Western Hemisphere, Ritsuko Tatsumi awakens from an 8-year coma. (Ep. 49)
  • Grandiene revives Salamandes and Zylpheeza to be her avatars of destruction, using their power to destroy the city. When Nagare and Shou appear to destroy them, they resurrect into their final form as the two Destruction Gods who easily destroy all of Go Go Five's mecha as well as Bay Area 55 and presumably kill Mondo before Grandiene merges her spirit into both beings. (Ep. 49)
  • Out of options, GoGoFive activate their final hope: Max Victory Robo Sigma Project, a final project of their father which runs on their own spirits. When sister Matsuri reveals their mother's survival, their power maximizes the mecha's potential allowing for them to destroy the Destruction Gods as well as Grandiene's conscious, finally defeating the Grand Witch. With Mondo revealed to have survived and gone to the airport for his wife, Ritsuko Tatsumi reunites with her children after 8 years, finally reuniting the Tatsumi Family and bringing their trials to an end. (Ep. 50)

Post-series

  • 2000: GoGoFive fights with the Timerangers to defeat the surviving Spell Master Pierre, who merges with the Londerz criminal Boribaru into BoriPierre. (Timeranger vs. GoGoFive)
  • 2001: As one of the first 24 Super Sentai, GoGoFive provide their support in the Gaorangers fight against Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa. (Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2006: As one of the first 30 Super Sentai, GoRed's Red Warrior spirit is inherited by AkaRed. (Boukenger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2011: GoGoFive, among the first 34 Super Sentai, oppose an invasion of Earth by the Space Empire Zangyack in what becomes known the Legend War, ending with all Super Sentai sacrificing their power to destroy the invasion fleet. Dispersed throughout the universe, the powers ultimately resurface as Ranger Keys whilst the former Super Sentai disband. (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger ep. 1, 199 Hero Great Battle)
  • 2012: A month following the defeat of the second Zangyack invasion, the powers of the 34 Super Sentai are returned to them by the Gokaigers. (Gokaiger ep. 51)
  • 2012: GoGoFive, among the first 34 Super Sentai, are apparently defeated by Tsukasa Kadoya (Kamen Rider Decade), Great Leader of Dai-Shocker which seeks to wipe out the Super Sentai, opposing Dai-Zangyack led by Emperor (formerly Captain) Marvelous (Gokai Red) who are hunting the Kamen Riders. Infact, all the presumed deceased Sentai and Riders had been transported to the dimensional rift, from which they emerge to defeat the new Shocker-Zangyack Alliance. (Super Hero Taisen)
  • 2017: GoGoFive, among the first 38 Super Sentai, provide their power for the Ninningers and Dai Megagers to defeat Gillmarda. (Zyuohger vs. Ninninger)
  • 2019: GoGoFive are embroiled in the Super Sentai Strongest Battle. (Super Sentai Strongest Battle)
  • 2021: GoGoFive, among the first 44 Super Sentai, are embroiled in the Zenkaigers' conflict with the Kikaitopia Dynasty Tozitend. (Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger)
